Gurbir Singh joins AdClear as Co-founder and Accounts Director

AdClear Digital Marketing is in the process of establishing itself as an online marketing powerhouse. It has acquired some enviable businesses for which it provides the whole gamut of online marketing services ranging from performance campaigns, search optimisation and web development. 

Gurbir Singh now joins AdClear as Co-founder and Accounts Director. He will be responsible for all businesses and spearhead growth. Gurbir has a vast experience in marketing and communication. He started his career with Advertising working with agencies like Ogilvy and Rediffusion.  His experience in advertising includes a vast set of leading brands, some of the key ones being Maruti, Airtel, Mother Dairy, Godfrey Philips, Pernod Ricard and American Express.

His last assignment was at Times Internet where he was responsible for digital and brand marketing for a large set of brands which include Gaana, Indiatimes, Times Card and Zigwheels among others.

He brings with him a unique experience that straddles brand and online marketing. This gives him the ability to have a more wholistic approach towards finding marketing solutions and formulating strategy in a highly connected environment.

DigitalF5 acquires digital marketing startup AdClear

Mumbai-based DigitalF5 Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd, which that offers digital solutions to businesses, has acquired digital marketing firm AdClear in an all-stock deal, a top company executive said.
DigitalF5 co-founder Ravi Dubey said the deal will help expand the company’s operations into Delhi. He didn’t disclose the deal value.
“We are in the end-to-end digital marketing solutions while AdClear’s expertise is in the area of performance-driven marketing, more specifically SEO (search engine optimisation) and SEM (search engine marketing). The acquisition will help complement each other’s operations,” Dubey told VCCircle.
AdClear will continue to operate as a separate brand for the next one year at least, but will eventually be merged with DigitalF5, he added.
As part of the acquisition, AdClear founder Ajay Anand will become the business head of DigitalF5, the company said in a statement. Some of AdClear’s key clients, including The Indian Express,,, and will be part of the acquisition.
AdClear, founded in February this year, provides performance-driven marketing solutions that include advertising on Facebook and Google, Google Analytics consulting, and SEO and web development.
An MBA by qualification, Anand has previously worked as the director of digital marketing at DAMAC Properties, UAE, where he was responsible for all digital functions such as sales channel, lead generation from paid and organic online media, e-commerce, analytics and social content marketing. In his earlier stints, he had handled digital marketing functions at Times Internet and Web18.
DigitalF5 was founded in 2015 by Dubey and Barin Mukherjee. It offers digital marketing solutions focused on technology, content and marketing for companies. Its key offerings are divided into three verticals—creative services, marketing services and technology services.
This includes website development and maintenance, marketing and maintaining the brand media campaigns, SEO and SEM, social media engagement and maintenance of the brand’s social media accounts. Besides, the company helps in creating media banners and other auxiliary services.
A postgraduate in computer science, Dubey had earlier handled digital marketing functions at Hungama and Web18. Co-founder and CEO Mukherjee handled the media and communication verticals at Hungama prior to co-founding Digitalf5. In his earlier stint, he had served at Mahindra & Mahindra and The Times of India handling the brand strategy.
DigitalF5 has worked with about 100 companies and brands till date including ITC, Bayer and Unilever.
The company has 54 employees and is present in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. According to Dubey, the company plans to launch its operations in Bangalore soon.

Livpure appoints DigitalF5 Delhi / AdClear as its digital agency

In a recent announcement, DigitalF5, has bagged the digital mandate for Livpure, a water and air purifier solution providers for commercial and home applications. The agency will manage the digital brand building activities of Livpure including website, search marketing, social content and mobile solutions. The mandate was won post a multi-agency pitch which saw participation from other digital marketing agencies.

Sushil Matey, director, Livpure, says in a press release, "Team DigitalF5 has a unique ability to differentiate between conversations with their category context. The organization has a proven track record of intensely mapping the consumer journey and then precisely utilizing the right opportunity with the most appropriate communication peg. We are happy to join hands with DigitalF5 and are confident that it will help us in creating a truly unique brand image of Livpure."
Barin Mukherjee, co-founder & CEO, DigitalF5, says in a press release, "Livpure is already a well-established player in its segment with a strong brand identity. However, like many other players in the category of water and air purifiers, it has so far focused on performance-oriented marketing operations. However, the target going forward is to focus on digital initiatives in enhancing its brand engagement and this is where our expertise comes in. We look forward to assisting Livpure in its goal of truly connecting with and educating its customers."
